Nordic Innovators helped Edurio in connection with getting funding through the SME Instrument Phase 2 programme. The company got EUR 1.9 million which will support the project of a new web platform.
For a long time, school networks have had a hard time managing stakeholder feedback and creating valuable insights. This is due to time-consuming paper management with no central data management possibility. However, Edurio’s new platform allows school networks to regularly collect and analyse feedback surveys from students, parents and teachers.
With the new platform, Edurio aims to let schools self-improve through continuous feedback. This tool also supports teachers and school leaders to create, collect and analyse the data gathered.
Additionally, automatic machine learning based diagnostics will give schools recommendation on future actions and priorities. Having already developed three prototypes and tested them in over 200 schools, completing 100,000 surveys, Edurio plans to scale their platform to 30,000 schools, five years after market launch. The aim is therefore to improve the quality of education for 15 million children globally.
