Bondura AS is a Norwegian company designing and producing pin-solutions for industrial use in heavy machinery. Their solutions reduce heavy machinery downtime and maintenance cost. bondura has been operating in the offshore industry for 30 years. However, they are looking to expand into other areas.

Nordic Innovators supported bondura AS in getting the SME Instrument Phase 1 grant of € 50.000. This will enable a feasibility study to be carried out for their new prototype aimed at the port, mining and construction industries. Moreover, it potentially exploits new opportunities with the grant laying the groundwork.

Bondura's new prototype differs from standard solutions by using a larger degree of assembly tolerance, yielding an extremely solid connection that avoids wear. In addition, it will strengthen the innovation by filing new IP and bringing their solution to a larger scale.
